Loading...The Ford Mondeo has been named the UK's greenest family car for the second consecutive year.
The 1.6 litre Ford Mondeo TDCi ECOnetic was named top of its class at the What Car? Green Awards 2012.
This came thanks to the Mondeo's 65.7mpg and low emissions of 114g/km of Co2 which means its owners enjoy paying only £30 in road tax.
Chas Hallett, What Car? Editor-in-chief said “The Ford Mondeo is deservedly a winner for the second year running.
“It’s a great family car and does everything What Car? expects a green family car to do. It might be five years old, but it’s still the best in its class.”
The 1.6 Mondeo TDCi ECOnetic in Zetec trim is priced from £21,195.
