Another key feature of Forza Motorsport 4 is its being Kinect-compatible. Kinect is an input device for the Xbox 360, which senses motions. Differing from a traditional video game controller, Kinect allows players to interact with the game console through spoke commands and gesturing.
In Forza Motorsport 4, Kinect can be used via the "Autovista" feature. This allows players to walk around their vehicle, in order to inspect various components, such as the engine and wheels. However, it's important to note that players can also use the Autovista feature without using Kinect.
When using Kinect to operate your vehicle during a racing session, the system will accelerate and decelerate your car automatically. By simply moving your hands, you can control your vehicle's steering. Players can also use Kinect and a game controller simultaneously. Kinect functions by reading the player's head movements via "head tracking." This is certainly one of the most impressive features of Kinect.
Players can also give audio commands by using Kinect. The commands can function in beginning races and navigating through various menus in the game.
