Escort Not Starting

Featured Replies

hi

i have just bought an escort si 1.8 16v 130ps

when i went to pick the car up it was running so the engine was walm and drove 150 miles with no problem

ive just gone out this morning and it wont start

it chugs as if it wants to start then it will start and run ruff for about 10 seconds then cut out

then if i try again it wont even try

so if i leave it for 10 mins it does the same all over again

has anyone got any ideas what it could be

thanks in advance

simon
