As per the title, is it possbile, to fit this style/shape stereo:

into the dash that is meant to take this shape:

I know the obvious shape difference and fitting differences (mine is four slim slots whereas the oval is four hidden screws), but if I could source the oval surround, are the four screw holes already in my dash to take it?

Dave there are 4 options in that shape bezel depending on radio spec they range from £27 to £68

Alright Graham! The flaps are champion! I'm trying to find out if the stereo's from the facelift (oval ones) will fit in my dashboard.

Further to our phone call the ST Models have the same style radio have a look on google images 'focus st dash'

Both stereos are Double-DIN, with different facia plates. I can't see it being much problem to make some screw holes for the new stereo. The only other problem is that some of the new Sony headunits do not have a keycode, instead are matched to the car using the VIN number.

Thats what I thought. I think I'll have to remove my trim to have a looksee!!!
