i am looking into buying a mondeo estate mk3 an am wanting to put 20 inch wheels on it matched with airbag suspension, but i have been told that puting wheels on that big will break the gearbox and wheel bearings. is this true????

    I would imagine if the offsets is spot on then cannot see it doing damage to bearings.

    Not sure how it would break the gearbox either. I am not an expert on this though.
