Streetka - Rusty Rear Grille

Featured Replies

Hi

I have a first edition streetka. I am relatively happy with it although it's fuel consumption leaves a bit to be desired. It's coming up for three years old at the end of april and most of its little problems have been ironed out.

I am looking for some information from other streetka owners to find out if mine has a common fault. The rear grille on my car had to be replaced last year as it had gone rusty. Ford replaced it for me through my local garage - but the same thing has happened and it's rusted again in less than a year. Ford, through my local dealer, have refused to replace it for a second time. I am now going to tackle Ford directly about this it would appear the grille has to have some sort of design fault if it's rusting within a year.

I would be grateful for any advice or to hear from anyone with a similar problem.

Thanks for reading,

Vicki
