Rear Bushes

Featured Replies

Hi fellow ford nuts.

I have a Puma and it failed it's mot on the bushes on the trailing arms, i decide to drop the arms one side at a time and replace them this i did and can't move em! my friend owns a workshop and he said drop the axle and bring it in here and ill press em out for you then press in the new ones. class i thought! so i had a look and what 8 bolts or so per side? then i came to undo the stupid 8 mill bolts hold in the ABS sensors and yes they are siezed and now rounded off? so i followed the cable back to the plug unplugged it and not thinking the cable goes through the brake back plate! i dont particularly wish to disturb the brake pipes (the only other way) can i lop the heads of these 8mm bolts to remove the abs device or will i damage the sensor? or can i cut and rejoin the abs lead that comes from the back plate? any help would be appreicated, thanks in advance
