jeebowhite
I am considering some nice little DRL's for my car, Just wondering how easy they are to fit, and how they can be used to switch on automatically with the cars ignition?
hawker
I fitted some on my old car (celica) I wanted to switch them on and off as and when, so I fed the wires through a rubber firewall into the cabin (not sure where it is on a focus but I would hope it has one somewhere) and I made a switch panel in the ashtray compartment, and i got power and earth from the cigarette lighter. I cut them into the bumper to make them look integral to the bumper, and not something that was just "stuck on" as an afterthought. Full details of what I did are on my celica website. Click on "jobs done" then on "Fitted TRD front bumper" link.
