jimcon Posted August 9, 2010 Share Posted August 9, 2010 I have a 2003 focus 1.8 zetec - there is a squeal/whine from the engine at the "fan" belt side and I'm wondering if the power steering pump has been known to show this as a symptom of its bearing drying out. the noise goes away after the car has warmed up but I'd rather get this sorted before it gets any worse. any advice welcome.
