sincy231171
I have just bought my wife aN Escort Mk 6 - S reg, and she is complaining about the clutch being too high when she drives and stalling the car. I drove it the other day and yes i keep banging my knee off the steering wheel. Can anyone tell me if i can adjust the clutch pedel to lower it slightly, so she does not have the problem and i do not bang my knee off the steering wheel? I have heard that there is a small allen screw that i can adjust on the pedel, but have not had a chance to loom yet. Cheers

It's a 6mm allen key you need. Halfway up the clutch pedal is an allen headed screw sticking out. UNSCREW this until the pedal drops to the correct height.
