Danny Mc
Hi all, I'm new to the ford owners club and have joined for this reason and many others in the future i expect. In the cold weather my heater matrix developed a leak. this was first noticed when the blowers were blowing out warm-ish damp or just cold air. knowing its a pricey job iv decided to sort it myself. I have removed the heater matrix and now im hunting for a replacement but none seem to match the placement of the piping or even dimensions. I've also noticed words flying about like "rear heater matrix" and wonder what iv exactly pulled out??? my car is: Galaxy 2.0 P reg - 96 (uk) Air-con. the part i have removed was positioned between the fan on the left and the blower chambers to the right. i cant find a matching image, sorry. but my matrix also had a metal block at the end of the pipes that connected it to the water supply through the firewall. please could someone point me the right way cos im a bit lost :(
