Upgrading To Sony Cd Player With Bluetooth / Voice Command

Featured Replies

Hi People, hopefully I can get some help and advice here.

In-short I'm looking to upgrade my 6000 cd player (standard silver one) in my 09 Focus to the Sony one that's supplied by Ford.

Removing the facial and cd player isn't a problem, the problem is that I have bluetooth with voice command built into the car.

Does anyone know if the bluetooth/voice command would still work if I were to swap the units? Has any one ever done or tried to do this with success?

Thanks,

John

Bluetooth and voice sit in another module (not the radio) and will still work with the new radio.

Please take care to use a Sony meant for a Focus (and not one for the C-Max or Mondeo) to avoid surprises ...
