Oil Leak At Front Diff/axle - Where Is It Coming From (Photos Inside)?

Featured Replies

I have a 2004 mk2 Ford Ranger (4x4).

I have a small leak at the front diff/axle. I can't quite figure out where it is coming from and/or which seal(s) need replacing. The Ranger has only covered 60,000 miles since new.

Anyone have any ideas?

real hard guess, so i would give the whole area a good clean down with a solvent cleaner and get it bone dry. check your oil and gearbox/diff levels and monitor them. because your prop rotates, a little bit of oil can go a long way so once cleaned check it daily and see if you can spot the inital signs of the leak.
