A good idea to have a poll bearing in mind the problems some of you have had with your dealerships. I consider myself very lucky with my Ford dealer, Whitwell Garage on the Isle of Wight, who give five-star all-round service, unlike the main Ford dealership on the Island.

I have dealt with them for around the last 8 years or so and have never had any problems. Whitwell Garage even won the national award for Ford customer service and deserve all the plaudits. :) (I don't work for them either !!).

I have answered from the point of view of the dealer I use to service my car - not the dealer that I actually got the car from.

Smiths Garage in Pinwall - 5 star in every way. Great value for money, free courtesy car for servicing and they always follow my requests regarding the washing of the car.

Heartlands Ford in Tamworth - where I purchased the car. Utterly terrible. Car was prepared badly despite me asking them not to touch it. Staff were mostly arrogant and none were particularly knowledgeable about Ford in general and the Fiesta specifically. The quote I got for the first service was OUTRAGEOUS and they wouldn't offer a courtesy car.

what you me by follow my requests regarding the washing of the car.

I always ask them not to. This seemingly simple request is often ignored.

Boland's Ford Garage Wexford town, Ireland, Top sales and after sales care, bit far for you guys to travel but a warm welcome when you get there.

They didn't give any discount for paying cash though, just through in a proper spare wheel and spacing kit for the boot,

Although they did admire my Clear fog light conversion and ST rear spoiler modifications when I dropped it in for a service last month.B)

I Use Gates of Letchworth... I know the guys really well there, have great banter, and free hot chocolate every time i visit! lol

I also never have to ask for discount... ;)

maclin motors in dunfermline.

Up until i needed work done on the car, they where fine, promised the world. warrenty wasnt worth the paper it was written on.

Under the warrenty ALL electrcal is cover, except the headed screen. It must be powered by fairy dust... so big arguements, and no further forward.

Basically down to one man. Completly felt ripped off.

so because of him they get 1 out of 5

My mum had a heated screen done under warranty... one half stopped working lol

thats wot happened to mine.lol

My local is Haynes ford, took my car into them for the service and a soft are update and I was really happy with them, answered all my questions properly and didn't treat me like some dumb kid (which was a first for me) and i know its silly but the even washed my car at now charge.

Would recommend them

we went to our local garage which is in endon stoke on trent, when we first had the focus about the anti theft device not locking on the fuel pipe, after arguing for approx 20 mins we decided to leave as he said that it doesnt lock, dont need a cap, and the flap doesnt lock. tried telling this to arnold clarke (purchased the car from) still same thick as pig !Removed!. Fell out over the price of servicing etc.... they had a major attitude problem when you questioned there knowledge, and it stunk even though they were wrong....

Kerr Baillie ford garage in ardrossan. Always give me excellent service and always very helpful/willing to answer any questions I have. Also not one of these garages that make up faults just to get more money out of you. When they say they done a job for you, theyve done it and to a very high standard

Also whenever I take the car in for a service either full or intermediate they also give the car good clean which is a good touch

Furrows Ford in Telford have always acted and completed 99% of the tasks i have asked them to look at , quiet often with out charge if i have been worried about some thing , When i asked for an IDS to look at something for me (ESP) switch , they could not solve the issue and were only going to charge me for 30 minutes , as it turned out they charged me nothing.

Also decent service rates and very helpful plus free coffee :)

Q1 5-star

Q2 5-star

Q3 answer 1.

I was really pleased with Keighley Ford unlike Bristol Street Motors in Crosshills, Keighley.

Dagenham Motors, Gillingham, Kent.

They are an excellent group! Vicki and Leanne on the service desk are excellent, and are always honest and up front about things. They are happy to help where they can and offer suggestions to give you an idea of worst case scenario, but only if you promise not to hold it on them!

Overall, I wouldn't take small jobs to them (basic service in essence) however I have got a service plan with them and dont hesitate to use them if I am looking at a job that might be too large for me!
