Bought a mondeo tdci estate ghia x 2002 2 months ago have had a few problems, but this is new fault. The rear tyers are worn on the inside edge, looking at the car from the rear, the wheels look like they are pointing out at the bottom of wheel, causing the wheels to run on the inside edges. guessing something has worn, any help you can give is most welcome. Taken it to a few garages, diags by garages range from, worn bushes to knuckle arms bent. just need to find out whats really going on so i can get them fixed.

this is a common problem on the estate, it is usually cured by getting a four wheel laser alignment done.

have had a look under the car, seems that the both nearside and offside knuckle arms are bent. Would this case the wheels to lean out?? and is there any ajustment to bring the wheels back in line. been told the 2 knuckle arms require replacement.

You've got too much negative camber on the rear wheels. If you can't see anything wrong in particular then get the wheels aligned to offset the effect of the camber. Does the car sit low at the rear?
