Leak In Ford Puma

I have a leak in my puma and I'm really at my wits end trying to find it. Basically rain water is gathering in the rear drivers footwell. Having stripped the interior, carpets and underlay out I can see that the water is coming from the front of the car. It is entering from the front drivers side of the car (somewhere in the wing). I have removed the wheel and wing and can't find any obvious place it is getting in. I have cleared any drain holes I have found and sealed the grommit for the indicator bulb and yet water is still coming in. Anybody any ideas how or where it is entering??
