melv1golf
ford cougar 2.0 1999 Can someone please help me before i set fire to this heap of junk i believe that i have got excess movement in my nearside front wheel, although the last mechanic i took it to said not, but when driving at around 40mph it feels and sounds like the wheel is loose a bit like your balance is out, i also have a squeek but cant identify where this is coming from. as well as that when i go over a speed bump i can feel the front wheels kind of knocking. i have taken it to several different people and each time i get difference of opinion. I have changed the drop links and lower ball joint, had the balancing and tracking done twice and no difference. the most common point that people are pointing to is wheel bearings but there is no noise at all coming from the wheel when jacked up. any pointers would be very much appreciated.
