Morning all. New member here.

The airflow into the cabin has been quite reduced, so I checked the pollen filter - very dirty! Time for a new one

Main dealer was shut, Halfords couldn't help but I managed to get one from a small parts supplier.

Result - much improved air flow.

This new filter is not a carbon activated type - just a straight filter. Anybody see a problem with this?

What is the purpose of the carbon in the genuine type?

    normal filters just catch dust,flys ect, carbon filters also take most fumes and smells away that might get into the car.
