St3 - St500....

Featured Replies

Evening folks,

Was looking at an ST500 tonight.....but was curious....

Whats the difference?

Besides the seats and decals?

Google'd it and it just seems to be a limited edition?

Is this the case.?

Yep, just like the recent RS500 there are 500 only worldwide.

Strangely enough I was looking at a ST500 parked outside my house today.

Red leather seats and black with mustang stripe.

Actually took some cheeky photos of it.

I'll bung them on when I'm next at my computer.

The guy had told me there was too much to list.

As far as i was aware it's an ST3 with nice seats....and not so nice silver stripes.

I think i'll just hold out for a silver/grey/red ST3 :)

I reckon it's a very striking car.

Lucky beggar! <_<

I certainly wouldn't say no to one.

Nice as the car is, it's an ST500 copy, or a dealer special... Official Ford ST 500's have a matt black wrap, and are the facelift model.

If it's a dress up then the owner has put a hell of a lot of work in to it,

Double exhaust, leather heated seats, dash pods, spoiler, front / rear bumpers, wheels, badges and everything else that goes with it.

What does an original ST500 go for?

Hang on though - wasn't it the RS500 that was vinyl wrapped? Not the ST500?

You're correct to correct me! :P It would appear as if i don't know my rs from my elbow... I mean ST! :D

I didn't even know there was such a thing as an ST500 to be honest! My eyes fooled me into seeing RS not ST...My bad!

Sorry to jump on you Ste but i think you're incorrect. Sorry again :(

So the ST500 was an official Ford release too? It's the first i've heard of it! Pretty sure i've never seen one out on the road... Anybody on here own one?

Seeing as there was only 500 throughout Europe they are a bit thin on the ground.

If the wife hadn't stopped me getting the credit card out yesterday, maybe i would have owned one.

It was very, very nice indeed.

The red Recaros and trim were pretty attractive.

I bet that trim would look good in a regular colorado red ST too Clive...

I was hoping he'd leave it overnight and then i would have broken out the stealth spanners and siezed them as evidence. Honestly... ;)

Any idea where i can get a new red front leather seat for the Ford focus st500 please.
