Drich290195
i seem to get terrible turbo lag in my mk 2 1.8 tdci at around 70mph. The revs are around 2k and i put my foot down to raise the revs and accelerate and its like hitting wind the powers their then stops then starts does this sound common. Stoney871
I had that a few weeks ago, i put some BG244 through the tank, some non supermarket fuel and a good run up the road and it now runs cleanly.

Stoney871
BG244 is readily available on eBay. It's not cheap but is effective. It will clean the whole fuel and engine system. A dirty fuel system, injectors, EGR valve or turbo will all cause problems.

Stoney871
It certainly won't hurt the car. Once the fluid has run through then you will find the car runs smoother.
