Stoney871 Posted July 21, 2012 Share Posted July 21, 2012 You may well need to prime the fuel system. When a car is stood for a while the fuel will drain back from the filter and pump. Diesels are notoriously difficult to start when the fuel lines drain (happens when changing fuel filters).
