Hi, can anyone help?

I am considering buying a 2003/4 Mondeo 2.5 v6 auto as a tow car. Could anyone tell me please what the correct kerbweight is for this vehicle and the maximum it will tow as so far i have had four different sets of figures. My current caravan weighs in at 1377kgs loaded. I know a 2.5 v6 will probably tow my caravan quite well but I am considering upgrading my van shortly so some correct info would be very helpfull in making the right tow car choice.

    Ive posted this somewhere else on the site but will post it here again if it helps . There is a weight plate usually found on the drivers door pillar or under the bonnet. it has 4 different weights on it, you take the top two weights and subtract one from the other that is your legal towing maximum hope this helps.
