hi airbag warning light flashes 4times then 2 when starting car then remains on.

i read somewhere this code is for the front crash sensor located at the radiator. where exactly is it and what does it look like. will it affect the airbag inflating, how dear is a sensor?

    Flash code 42 is the front crash sensor CIRCUIT. it's in front of the radiator and the plug corrodes. but if the plug is ok it could be a wireing fault. before looking at the front try checking the yellow multiplugs under the front seats as any seat movement can loosen these plugs, spray with contact cleaner and refit the plugs. in 80% of cases this cures the fault.
