kadavid
My daughter has a 2002 KA which she has owned from new. At the weekend she was being towed home by me as the radiator had split. The towing eye had been firmly secured but after a couple of miles as we pulled away from a roundabout (we had not stopped only slowed down) the whole mounting point came away i.e the welds parted and ripped most of the front of the car off. This has pretty much written the car off, as a whole new front is required including lights where the mountings have all sheared. Surely this should not happen. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? The RAC man who took her home on a trailer had not seen this in over 20 years and would have towed her using this towing eye.
