PLEASE DONT SAY DRIVEN PLATE IS ON BACKWARDS

- THAT IS A JOKE RIGHT !

Has the car been standing for any length of time?

If so then the disc could have stuck to the plate or flywheel. (there are other possibilities)

If this is the case then you can sometimes get them to seperate by warming up the engine, turn off, select a forward gear, press the clutch, apply the foot brake hard, try to start the engine, BE CAREFUL IT WILL TRY TO MOVE AWAY.

Second option, if you are competent enough to drive without the clutch, drive it around for a while with the clutch pressed.

Third option is gearbox out, which may become necesary anyway if the disc breaks up trying the other options.

PS, theres no need to shout

Hi Big Bob !

Yes it may have been standing. Would be pleased to know 'other possibilities' before taking out

the box ! Many thanks for your help.
