Yes it should.

I would think that the tab on yours has broken.

Simple and cheap to replace. Very common problem

Very very common. Get ready though if you change your own. The horn sounds when you insert the new one and you will !Removed! yourself lol

TBH I'd go to a wreckers and get one. They arent cheap from the dealers. IIRC theres a screw on the top of the steering wheel shroud. Take that out and lift the top off. A screw holds the stalk unit in place, take that out and the unit lifts up. Both stalks are on one unit. Take out the multiplugs and replace the plugs into the new one. Slide the new stalk unit down. When its in place the horn sounds, making you jump and the stalk unit pops back out lol. Do it again and push it well down. Screw it back in place and replace the shroud around the steering. Job done. 15 mins tops.

Its a complete unit and has to be changed as one unit. IIRC in the wreckers they cost around £30
