My daughters push rod 1299cc no te 59961 Fiesta suddenly stopped with a small bang the crank turns but the top end does not it was running fine but as these engines are it was tappendey i cant believe the chain has broke any ideas and and what damage to look for regards Rob

    it does sound like the chain has broken, sticking camchain tensioners are common on the Fiesta engine which might have been the rattle, what milage on the car i have known chains go from 90000 miles if the tensioners are not looked at and left to rattle.
