hi i have a mondeo mk3 2 litre tdci and its is eccesiverly black smoking upon accelertion i have changed the fuel filter the air filter and the oil and oil filter it i know mondeos smoke anyway so i put some injector cleaner in no problem 2 weeks later it started smoking alot more than it did i dont really want to put anymore of that stuff in so can anyone tell me what it could be

    it could be your egr valve and manifold that requires cleaning (2 HR JOB) its a common problem with oil burners and suprising how much crud builds up
