Problem started recently, This light on the dashboard flickers almost constantly. I've checked that all doors (including tailgate) are shut and secure. Sometimes whacking the top of the dash solves it temporarily, Sometimes slamming the drivers door solves it temporarily. Im guessing its either going to be the soldering on the back of the cluster, Or one of the sensors on the doors but i've got no idea where to start. Ideally don't really want to take it to an auto electrician and spend loads on something that doesn't affect the running of the car, Its just annoying!

Any help greatly appreciated.

i would get a sensor from the local scrappy for the door and try it on each door one at atime until the light goes off to see if its the door or the cluster

- What do these sensors look like? Where are they located etc? An idiots guide would basically be about my level when it comes to cars.

when you open the door look at where the catch is for the door lock on the pillar that black square block that pushes in thats what youre looking for
