There are a few preventative bits of rust proofing I would like to do to vulnerable areas.
I want to get at the back of the fuel filler area. Do I get at this by removing interior trim? Is this an easy job and are there any hidden fixings I need to be aware of so I don`t break anything?
I would also like to get some waxoyl into the sill area by the B post. Can this be done in some easy way, or is it necessary to drill a hole? If a hole is needed, is there a precise location due to internal webbing in the sill section which may get in the way?
I also intend to spray everything under the bonnet with ACF50. I use this on all my bikes to protect them from the salt in the winter. It is brilliant stuff developed for the aeronautical industry.
Any other bits worth doing while I am at it?
