Just joined the forum after coning accross it on a google escort related search,

Am in sunny Scarborough, North Yorkshire, running an Escort 1.8 Ghia with the zetec engine.

I got this car free off my sister in law as it had been sat on her driveway for nearly a year and she was going to scrap it !!

Its done nearly 48,000 miles from new, and isnt in bad nick at all.

So far I havent done much beyond sticking a K&N filter in it, and spent way too many hours polishing the bodywork, treating some of the scratches, KuRusting the rear brakes drums, and painting them boy racer red. Alloys cleaned up, and back put out cleaning and polishing under the bonnet. Have sprayed some engine components shiny silver, and brought all the blackwork and hoses up to shiny condition.

More mods planned as money allows.
