how low are we talking here? i have had issues with the low idling in the past but for now im doing ok and ive not even done anything to it lately. mine was worse when it was cold outside and the engine was at running temperature, not too bad at the moment with the slightly warmer weather.

consideing it sld idle at 700=/-30rpm 850 is high and you wont get it idling higher check youre manual the correct idle is 700=-30 so between 670 and 730 rpm is normal sso you have summat wrong that its idling rough when its actually idling high coil pack idle control valve pcv valve or a sensor the focus will also hunt when idling as the ecu constantly is monitoring the fuel and air and looking for the lowest emissions so it will constantly vary

thats interestin to no thanx m8, ill ave to look into it further then, double check the actual idle revs then if still high ill consider valve or sensor,
thanx again
