hi i took my car to the garage and i need a whole new exhaust but the front is the worse part ie the most expensive is it worth my while buying a second hand catalytic converter fron a scrappy or something.
i got pretty stung with this car and it cost me in repairs what it cost me for the car and i'v only had it 6 months so now i'm struggling to find over £300 for a new exhaust system

Hi there, I would definately go down the 2nd hand will be the cheapest option, I would go a scrappers that specialises in car exhausts and cat converter, there are plenty of places about that will even give a warrenty on parts.

You might find a second hand exhaust hard to find. What usually happens at the scrapyard is the cars get dumped on top of one another, and this wrecks the exhaust.
