If I replace the Feul filter on my Mondeo which I can see is esy enough will I have to prime the system or buy a pump or can I just put the new one in and restart the car.

have been told that it is best to soak the filter overnight in diesel as can stop the fuel going through if its dry and was told it was self priming but have yet to try myself but he works for a ford dealership at the dirty end
