Hi everyone ive recently put a pipercross viper induction kit on my escort gti jus wondering if any one on here has any opinions on them

After doing a lot of research i came to the conclusion that it is a waste of money.

It sounds good but may give you 1-2bhp MAX

The best induction mod for the GTi air system is to supply the standard air box with a secondary air supply system to the bottom of the box, and drill a few holes in the box AWAY from the hot engine. Next i'd polish and "knife edge" the throttle body increasing ir flow by a very slight amount.

The throttle body on the car will only supply a set amount of air, no matter how much you try to force through it, thus the need to polish it to improve air flow.

I had a viper on a vectra, looked nice, sounded ok but I can't say it made any difference to performance I would suggest you save your money to be honest - but its your car
