Hello all!

Please can someone confirm what the tyre pressures should be on the front and rear? Is the book correct? They have 2 different numbers.
The size of the wheels, and hence suitable tyres to fit them, will determine what the pressures ought to be. There are also pressures listed for when the car has just the driver in, and when it's fully loaded with two people and their luggage. And the rarer option of fitting winter tyres, which is more likely to affect someone driving their StreetKa in the mountains of Germany.

To find out what tyre pressure to use, you'll need to take a look at the sidewalls of the tyres. These will have a series of numbers and letters on them which will give the tyre size. It will be something along the lines of 165/60 R 14 or 195/45 R 16. The pressures in the handbook are given in Bar first and lbf/inē (pound feet per square inch) in brackets afterwards. Choose which you prefer and stick to it. You may also find pressures listed in kilopascals (kPa) but these are the same as Bar; just remember to divide by 100.
