Hi everyone...Ok i ran out of fuel last week...i have since put a few quids worth of fuel in it....i started it and it went about 10 yards and then stopped and i cant seem to restart it...could this be crap stuck in the petrol filter? Is so does anyone know what i should do?

oh by the way the Focus is a 1999 1.8 Zetec

not that bad on price then hold pedle to foor and try to start

[url="http://www.holtsauto.com/products/group/additives/petrol"]Redex Link[/url] Happend me before mate redex is great but always read the label for dosage instructions, turn key and stamp/Pump the accelerator like your pumping up a balloon, the mistake i made was throwing in the whole bottle of redex lol didn’t realise and took it for a spin down the road when i checked my mirror their was a trail of white smoke everywhere like a jet engine but great stuff when dosed properly, id try this before resorting to a fuel filter as they can be difficult to get sealed properly, and also the redex will break down the gunk in the petrol tank its self as replacing the filter will still leave gunk in your tank
