Unhook the battery. by the time you get the airbag unbolted any residual charge will have dissipated. unbolt the airbag and pull it off. unhook it and set it aside with the bag portion facing up. Remove the nut in the center of the steering wheel. pull the wheel off. remove the spacer. unhook and remove the clockspring try not to turn it as it will cause problems after
as there wont be enough cable to complete the full turn of the wheel . Making sure the new clockspring is centered, install it onto the column and then install the spacer and wheel over it. zing the nut on and then hook up and reinstall the airbag. Then go reattach the battery cable. to get the air bag off you need a tiny socket. its a 5.5 MM
