My 2002 Galaxy Auto 2.3 currently has the Engine Warning Light on and is stuck in 2nd gear. It has happened a couple of times before over previous months, but righted itself. This time it won't correct itself. Has anyone had a similar problem? I suspect it is just a case of resetting the electronics, but have no idea how to do this. Can anyone help please?

Perhaps your gearbox is at fault if it's stuck in gear...
