I have just purchased a Ford KA 1.3 X reg and have just started to drive it around. Today i noticed that when i put the clutch down a grinding noise would appear around the glove box area of the car. The same noise appeared when i released the clutch and usually only occurs when i am in the lower gears. I also noticed that the noise did not occur regularly and appeared every now and again when on one journey. Is this something i should be worried about? Is it a clutch problem or could it be because the car has been stood whilst on sale on the forecourt?

I WOULD TAKE IT STRAIGHT BACK TO THE GARAGE YOU GOT IT FROM & HAVE IT CHECKED OUT AS IT SHOULD NOT BE LIKE YOU SAY
