i have a 2001 ford focus and it came without a radio so i put a 6000cd radio into it instead of the standard cassette radio. with doing this one of the leads which enables the changer by the steering wheel does not fit into the back of the radio. does anyone know of an adapter that i can get so i can plug it in to the back of the radio so the changer works?

the radio you got is the old type the one you need is the one with the rotate on /off knob.
Yours will be the slide type on off knob .The plug that fits yours cans be found in the mk 2 mondeo
but you would have to work out the wireing three wires hope this helps

never heard of anywhere you can buy a plug for these radios as the are made for certain cars

they do fit the cars but not the remote streering control
they were made more for the escort and ealy fiestas sorrry
