HELLO,
JUST BOUGHT FOCUS AND ITS NOT A BAD CAR, ONLY PROBLEM IS THE KEY FOB. IT DOES NOT WORK VERY WELL I HAVE CHANGED BATTERY BUT ITS GRADUALLY GETTING WORSE. IT MUST BE THE FOB THATS FAULTY. MAY BE ITS BEEN DROPPED A COUPLE OF TIMES?
ANY SUGGESTIONS WELCOME.
ANDREW.

you say the fob is bad, i presume you mean the buttons? if the car starts ok and its just the buttons, you can pick up a key 'body' for a few quid and transfer the chip. you will then just need to program the central locking - takes about 2 minutes.
if the car starts then the chips is most likely not faulty.
