Hi there i have a W reg escort van 1.8D when i'm driving with the window open i can smell exhaust fumes or diesel not to sure which one, i've replaced the exhaust, the manifold is good and i've change the spill off pipe not sure what more i can do. can anyone give any advice could really do with it as i'm loosing my mind with this?

I have had before where the rubber seals were gone on the rear hatch and when I opened the window it must have caused a vacuum in the car because it then sucked fumes from the back into the car, so check your rubber seals on the back doors.

Hi there thanks for your reply the seals are fine, this is really gettin to me now!!!!! anyone know anything about this?
