Have you got access to a car lift ? as this i imagine would be a really hard job to do with a trolley jack and axle stands, i have changed the anti roll bar bushes on my old escort years ago and that was a real pain and took hours and i swore never to do this again unless i had proper access. It is best to buy the whole assembly if you have the cash as they are for starters easier to fit and secondly no risk of damaging the bushes whilst trying to insert them as they are a very tight fit and to get them in properly and square a press would be ideal, i know they cost considerably more but will be loads better. I suggest you buy the parts you need weather it be the whole assembly or just the bushes and get a local garage to fit them as ford will charge you a small fortune in labor alone, hope this helps.

i would go for poly bushes personally, they dont require any special tools to fit - you just need to cut/burn the old bushes out.
