Hi

My Focus 2008 1.6 TDCi was recently serviced by main dealer and they used Shell Helix oil.

I have done over 300 miles since service and checked (oil at max level) and the oil is not as 'black' as the standard Ford oil.

Invoice states Shell helix used.

Is the oil used ok?

As long as its stated as a correct oil type and specified to use with ford engines it should be fine but I always check that its 913 or higher myself.
