Hi Chaps...............just bought a Y plate Escort 1600 Ghia and must admit that I am basically a Triumph enthusiast,as I currently own two Mk1 pi saloons.Anyway,as stated I bought the Escort,because I love the shape of the MK3 especially the RS Turbo and injection models and this Ghia just happened to pop along and I bought it on an impulse to help fund another Triumph that I used to own and have the chance of buying back.
The car itself is a one previous owner,with 77k on the clock and as stamped history upto 69k and drives lovely.I think it hads been laid up for a while as the heater motor had siezed (now fixed) and having problems getting heat through,yet to investigate.
Will ask few questions about my problems on help pages.
