54 plate mondeo 2.0 tdci ghia
i have water ingress in rear passenger footwell looks as if comeing through bottom of the door i have rubber mats down alot of water collecting on mat.
but carpet also is wet
please help if anyone can what problem could be

I have had the exact same fault on my rear doors, The problem was gaps between the window seal on the door and also a cut speaker liner behind the door card I pressume from prior maintenance. Water can then run down through the door between the door card then on to the plastic sill and onto the carpet. Take the door card off and get the wife to hose the door and take a look.
