Hi,
Does anyone have any advice on a mk3 Ghia X? I fancy changing my car next year to a circa 2000-02 2.0 Ghia X possibly the automatic version.
Anything particular I should look for?
I seen a car advertised locally 2001 Y reg with FSH 70000 miles for £1795. Like the idea of auto gearbox, heated seats and screen.
Is it easy to change the standard head unit?
Currently have a Citroen Xsara coupe, and wife has a Focus, so would I notice a difference, as its obviously much larger.

Hi mcbzz
only possible faults i can find are
water ingress to rear of car - caused by rear washer pipe to short. remedy longer pipe.
failure of one or more electrical systems. - caused by earth point corroded or loose.
excessive handbrake travel - caused by worn handbrake components.
so nothing really bad as far as i can see.
just make sure you get as much service history as possible.
good luck

Thanks. Will keep these points in mind if I decide to change. Probably wait till winter is over before looking - although could do with a heated screen now!
