Hi all,got a bit of a problem if anyone can help plz!!!.I started my Escort up this morning with no problems but drove about 100yds down the road and it just cut out on me.When i tried to restart the engine wouldnt turn over but just made a whirring noise.Any ideas plz folks??

Has the cambelt snapped?

Hi, as far as i can feel from under the cam cover it seems ok.
