My Ford Mondeo Ghia 2007 (new shape) 1.8 DCTI keeps having the engine malfuntion light coming on and loss of power. Had diagnostoce test done which showed nothing-mechanic baffled.Any suggestions?

when the light comes on the car will go into limp home mode, also there should be a fault code in the memory to whats triggering the light.
